The offseason is only a few hours old but the recruiting news is only getting started.
This news, however, came as a bit of a surprise. Following racially insensitive comments made by Creighton’s head Greg McDermott that landed him in hot water a couple of weeks ago, the school has already lost its top commitment from the class of 2021. TyTy Washington, a four-star prospect ranked as a top 35 player in the country by both 247 Sports and Rivals, announced on Thursday his decision to back out of his pledge to Creighton, thus reopening his recruitment.
