The Kentucky Wildcats have lost three players this offseason, including two that came as a bit of a surprise.
According to Jon Hale of the Louisville Courier-Journal, junior defensive end Kengera Daniel, junior cornerback Dominique Williams and junior running back Sihiem King have left the team.
King opting to transfer has been known for some time, but the loss of Williams and Daniel hurts Kentucky’s depth on defense. Williams would have challenging for a starting cornerback spot with Derrick Baity, Chris Westry and Lonnie Johnson graduating, while Michael Nesbitt has left the team as well.
