No. 6 Kentucky basketball (25-6, 14-4) finished the regular season with a 71-63 win at Florida.
UK led by as many as 16 points in the first half. While Florida, which likely needed a win over Kentucky to move to the right side of the NCAA Tournament bubble, kept things interesting in the second half, the Gators were unable to pull any closer than six points.
After Florida cut the lead to six with 51.3 seconds remaining, Kentucky turned the ball over on an in-bound attempt but Florida was unable to convert on the following possession.
