Three Kentucky Wildcat football players have been named to Preseason Award watch lists.
Defensive-end/Outside Linebacker Josh Allen and Safety Mike Edwards have been named to the 2018 Bednarik Award Watch List, which is given to the best defensive player in all of college football. Previous winners include Notre Dame LB Manti Te’o (2012), LSU DBs Tyrann Mathieu (2011) and Patrick Peterson (2010), and Nebraska DT Ndamukong Suh (2009).
Running Back Benny Snell, Jr. has been named to the 2018 Maxwell Award Watch List, which is given to the best all-around player in the country.
