Kentucky’s top football recruiting target could be taking his talents to… Piscataway?
Owensboro quarterback Gavin Wimsatt, the Wildcats’ top priority as the No. 3 dual-threat passer in the country, is nearing a decision. Over the last month a few dominos have fallen, leading many to believe it was only a matter of time before he committed to Kentucky.
Notre Dame previously appeared to be the Cats’ top competition for Wimsatt’s services. Once Drew Allar committed to Penn State, the Fighting Irish accepted a commitment from Steve Angeli. Vince Marrow had UK in position to seal the deal.
