In Thursday's first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Kentucky Wildcats linebacker Josh Allen was selected seventh overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars - the highest a UK player has been drafted since the New York Jets made defensive tackle Dewayne Robertson the fourth pick of the 2003 draft.
Allen was just the fourth Wildcat selected in the first round of the draft since 1985, joining quarterback Tim Couch (1st overall - Cleveland Browns), Robertson and linebacker Bud Dupree (22nd overall - Pittsburgh Steelers).
