Mountain basketball has many characters that have achieved legendary status, transcending the game of basketball to become mythic figures. Names like Kelly Coleman and Richie Farmer are untouchable. One of those names that should enter the conversation is Camron Justice.
Justice led Knott County Central to the Sweet 16 four years in a row, finishing his high school career with 3,588 points (third all-time) and a Mr. Basketball crown. However, today he’ll return to Rupp as an enemy of the state.
Justice had to leave home, signing with Vanderbilt after he was bypassed in the recruiting process by John Calipari.
