The Kentucky Wildcats had no problems defeating Stony Brook. The No. 4 seeded Wildcats defeated the No. 13 seed Seawolves 85-57 Thursday night.
Kentucky shut down Stony Brook's offensive attacking, holding them to just 26.3 percent shooting. UK, meanwhile, hit 52.4 percent of its shots.
UK was led by guards Jamal Murray and Tyler Ulis. Murray had 19 points and seven rebounds. Ulis had 10 points and seven assists. Isaiah Briscoe had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. All those players would have scored more if the game wasn't a blow out.
The Wildcats had five different players put up double-figures. Stony Brook had just two, with Jameel Warney putting up a team-high 23 points.
The Wildcats will now take on Indiana Saturday. The Hoosiers defeated Chattanooga earlier on Thursday.
