The Kent State women's basketball team will make the short drive to Youngstown State Saturday for the second game of the 2019-20 season. Tip-off from the Beeghly Center is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Fourth-year head coach Todd Starkey improved to 3-1 in season openers in dramatic fashion Tuesday day, as Megan Carter sank a floater in the lane with 0.2 on the clock to take down Duquesne, 77-75. Carter scored eight of her 12 points in the final five minutes of the contest.
