Kent State's women's track and field concluded their weekend of competition at the Jesse Owens Classic in Columbus, Ohio and the War Eagle Invitational in Auburn, Ala. on Saturday April, 22.

For the second time this season, Danniel Thomas swept the women's discus and shot put titles. Thomas posted winning marks of 56.83m (186' 5.25") and 17.9m (58' 8.5") in the discus and shot put, respectively.
Talia Falco set a career-best mark of 11.85m (38' 10.5") in the triple which landed her a third-place finish. In the discus, Victoria Ross finished 11th with a mark of 39.
