KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kent State women continued to prove last year's title was not a fluke, extending its lead at the Mid-American Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships to 23 entering the final day of action.
The Golden Flashes totaled 41 points on Friday, which is more than any other team has scored over the first two days of competition combined.
Kent State continued its dominance in throwing events, as all four shot put competitors recorded personal-bests and totaled 19 points. Gabby Bailey claimed her second outdoor shot put title in a row with a throw of 55'-10.
