The Kent State women's basketball team will take the court for just the third time during the month of February on Saturday when it battles host Central Michigan at 1 p.m. inside of McGuirk Arena.
The Golden Flashes (14-7, 9-2 MAC) have split their two games this month, defeating Western Michigan, 70-57, on Feb. 7 and falling to Old Dominion, 82-76, in a MAC-Sun Belt Challenge contest last Saturday. Kent State led the Monarchs by 10 late in the third quarter before the visitors went on a 26-6 run to take control. Redshirt senior Katie Shumate posted her fourth double-double of the season with 26 points and 12 rebounds, tying her season-high in both categories.
