KENT, Ohio – The Kent State women's golf team will begin its quest for a 25th-straight Mid-American Conference Championship on Sunday. The three-day event will take place April 21-23 at the par-72, 6,201-yard Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City, Ohio. All three days will be streamed live on ESPN+.
Since 1999, there has only been one team to hoist the MAC Championship trophy – Kent State. The Golden Flashes have never lost a conference championship and enter this weekend as the favorite to win once again as the highest-ranked team in the conference.
Kent State has finished the season strong, including a fourth-place finish at the Jackrabbit Invitational a month ago and a sixth-place result last weekend at the Lady Buckeye Invitational.
