KNOXVILLE, Tenn.- The Kent State University women's golf team won its second-straight tournament of the 2019-2020 season on Tuesday with a five-stroke victory at the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate.
"Winning doesn't happen all the time in college golf," said head coach Lisa Strom. "We will certainly enjoy this for a few days and get back to work after a little rest. The climb is all about the journey we're on together. We're getting comfortable being around each other and keep pushing each other to be the best versions of ourselves. When you execute at an elite level like this team does, and enjoy doing it together, that's where the magic happens.
