The Golden Flashes (10-6, 9-4 MAC) followed two road wins over Northern Illinois on Saturday and Sunday by defeating Buffalo, 65-62, on Wednesday. Mariah Modkins sank a go-ahead runner near the elbow late in the shot clock with 50.6 seconds to play, and Nila Blackford added a layup with 17.1 remaining as Kent State scored the game's final four points. The Flashes held the Bulls to their second lowest-scoring game of the season and without a field goal over the final 4:55 of the contest.
