Kent State will go for its second win against a Power-Five opponent in the Sunshine State in an eight-day span on Sunday afternoon, this time against 15th-ranked Florida State.
Ranked 17th in the Mid-Major Top 25, the Golden Flashes (4-2) closed November with back-to-back wins, a dominant 77-40 victory over Coppin State in the home opener on Wednesday and a 67-64 win against Missouri last Saturday at the Daytona Beach Classic. It was Kent State's fourth Power-Five win in the past three seasons. The Atlantic Coast Conference is the only league to avoid a setback to the Flashes during this span.
