The Kent State women's basketball team hits the road for a Mid-American Conference game against Northern Illinois on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The Golden Flashes (15-7, 8-2 MAC) have won five in a row by 14 or more points and led by as many as 36 in a 73-51 rivalry victory over Akron on Saturday. Senior Jenna Batsch followed a career scoring performance in the previous contest with a game-high 25 points in just 23 minutes of action. Sophomore Janae Tyler reached double-digits for the fifth time in the last six games with 14 points and sophomore Mya Babbitt added 13 points.
