KENT, Ohio – A snowstorm and bone-chilling cold across most of the Kalamazoo area has postponed the Kent State/Western Michigan Mid-American Conference game originally scheduled for Tuesday night at University Arena.
The Flashes were prepared to depart the KSU campus following a morning practice Monday, but persistent snow in the destination area and most of the travel route changed those plans. After lengthy conversation between both participating schools and league personnel, the decision was made to postpone the game until Thursday at 6:00 pm. Forecasted highs for Wednesday in Kalamazoo are five below with wind chills nearing record lows.
