COLUMBUS, OH... The Kent State women's golf team wrapped up the opening two rounds of the Lady Buckeye Invitational in third place thanks to two top-notch performances from Emily Price and Chloe Salort.
The pair finished Friday's action in a tie with for third, each carding a 147 to remain just three strokes over par on the day.
The rest of the Flashes weren't far behind with the whole team finishing day one inside the top-50, trialing only the hosts in Ohio State and Illinois going into the final round on Saturday.
Kent State will begin round three with a tee time of 8:30 and will look to catch the top of the field, sitting just nine strokes off the pace of the Buckeyes who lead the pack at +29.
