BUFFALO, NY- The 25th-ranked Buffalo Bulls used a perfectly timed 10-0 run in the final minute of the first half to turn Kent State's lead into an eight point deficit at the intermission and then outscored KSU 45-30 in the second period to pull away in an 80-57 win before 6,655 at Alumni Arena.
Up until the final 60 seconds of the first 20 minutes, the Golden Flashes (19-8; 8-6) matched the Bulls' intensity – especially on the defensive end. But 11 turnovers led to UB (24-3; 12-2) buckets and Nick Perkins banked a three off the glass as the horn sounded.
