KENT, Ohio – Junior Megan Turner sent a full count pitch well over the wall in left field for an 11-7 walk-off win in the second game of a doubleheader against Toledo on Saturday at the Diamond at Dix. Kent State won the first game, 11-4.
The Golden Flashes (5-10, 2-0 MAC) collected 13 hits in both games as part of an offensive explosion. Kent State posted an outstanding .473 batting average and blasted five home runs. Seniors Brenna Brownfield and Alexis Taube each homered twice.
