Trickett Named Special Teams Player of the Year, Six Named All-MAC

KENT, OHIO- Kent State sophomore place kicker Matthew Trickett earned the Mid-American Conference Special Teams Player of the Year, highlighting six players that earned All-MAC honors as announced by the conference on Wednesday.

In addition to the Special Teams Player of the Year honor, Trickett also cements himself on the All-MAC First-Team for the second-straight season. Joining Trickett on the All-MAC teams are: Jamal Parker (Second Team-Defensive Back), Mike Carrigan and Isaiah McKoy (Third Team-Wide Receivers), Theo Majette (Third Team-Down Lineman) and Derek Adams (Third Team-Punter).
