KENT, Ohio – Head Coach Rob Senderoff and the Kent State men's basketball program announced the signing of Marquis Barnett to the 2024 class on Wednesday afternoon.
Barnett will spend his last year of eligibility with the Flashes after spending three years at Presbyterian College. The Saginaw, Michigan native joins Deondre Jones, Jonas Nichols, Morgan Stafford, Anthony Morales, and Cian Medley as the newest members of the Flashes.
The senior guard ranked seventh in the Big South Conference in scoring after averaging 16.4 points per game last season, scoring in double-digits in 24 games and posting seven 20-plus point performances.
