KENT, Ohio - The Kent State track and field program will square off against rival Akron in a dual meet on Friday, January 25. This will be the first of two consecutive weekend meets hosted at the University of Akron, and the meet will be televise on ESPN3.
Competition begins at 7:00 p.m. with the men's and women's pole vault in addition to men's and women's long jump, women's high jump, and women's weight throw. Running events are scheduled to commence at 7:08 p.m. with the men's mile.
Kent State has competed in one meet so far during the indoor season, the Wolverine Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich.
