Kent State's men's and women's track and field programs are set to renew their spirited rivalries with Akron Friday night, as they travel to Stile Athletics Field House to take on the Zips in the annual Akron-Kent State Dual. The dual is to begin at 6:30 p.m. with the men's pole vault.
The Golden Flashes will set out Friday looking to avenge last year's Akron-Kent State dual which ended with the Zips defeating Kent State on the men's and women's sides. In last year's Akron Dual, Jonathan Grant won the men's 60m dash with a personal-time of 6.
