Kent State's track and field program is heading south once again as they make their way to Tuscaloosa, Ala. for the Crimson Tide Invitational, April 7-8. The two-day meet hosted by the University of Alabama at Sam Bailey Track and Field Stadium gets underway with the women's hammer throw at 3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.
LAST TIME OUT
Last week, Kent State sent its pole vaulters and multi-event athletes to the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, while the remainder of the team was in Oxford, Ohio at the Miami Duals.
At the Texas Relays, TJ Lawson captured fourth in the decathlon with 7,497 points, the second-highest total in Kent State history.
