CHARLESTON, S.C. –The Kent State baseball team is set for two mid-week games in Charleston, S.C., continuing its trip south after going 1-2 at the Brittain Resort Baseball at the Beach tournament in Conway, S.C. over the weekend. The Flashes will play at Charleston Southern (2-5) on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 6 p.m. and at The Citadel (2-4) on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 3 p.m.
Kent State is coming off its first win of the season, breaking a five-game losing streak that opened the season. The Flashes powered past Michigan State, 12-2, collecting ten hits and nine walks.
