AKRON, Ohio - Kent State senior Sam Tollerud punched her ticket to the 2018 NCAA Regionals Saturday at the Northeast Ohio Quad, held at both Lee Jackson Field and Stile Field House. The Golden Flashes' women won three individual events on Saturday, while the men won two on day two of the University of Akron's event.
Tollerud's third place pole vault, cleared 4.18 meters.
The Golden Flashes' women also got a strong showing from its freshman class, led by Sarena Choi, who won the triple jump, totaling 11.
