YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio—The Kent State track and field program was represented by three student-athletes at the Youngstown State University Icebreaker in Youngstown, Ohio Friday afternoon. Senior Sarah Pack and sophomore Justin Prack started the 2018-19 indoor season with top-five finishes in the mile.
Taking third place in the women's mile, Pack crossed the finish line with a time of 5:11.74. Prack finished in fourth place in the men's mile with a time of 4:24.88.
Freshman Kamya Lapsley competed in the 800-meter run, finishing eighth with a time of 2:22.64.
Next up, the Flashes will compete at the Wolverine Invitational on Saturday, Jan.
