LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kent State track and field's Danniel Thomas has earned her fourth-career trip to the NCAA Outdoor National Championships, as she took third-place in the discus at the NCAA East Prelims Friday in Lexington, Ky.
Thomas captured third-place with a throw of 55.44m (181' 11") on her first of three attempts and will look to become a three-time All-American in the discus when she heads to Eugene in two weeks. On Saturday, Thomas will compete in the shot put as the No. 2 seed, looking to qualify for the national championships in two events.
