KENT, Ohio – Kent State University men's golfer Gisli Sveinbergsson is listed in the first spring rankings of the Arnold Palmer Cup.
Ranked 19th for Team Europe, Sveinbergsson is getting set for a successful spring season with the 26th ranked team in the nation. In five appearances this fall, the former MAC Freshman of the Year placed in the top-30 in every tournament. He had his best finish at seventh in the Cleveland State Invitational, and set a new career-best round score of 67 at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate.
The Arnold Palmer Cup Ranking automatically qualifies the top six players for both sides and uses Golfstat's NCAA Player Ranking as a base.
