KENT – The Kent State Men's Basketball team bested the Pilots of the University of Portland on Friday night by a final score of 76-57. Five different Flashes scored double-digits in the balanced team win.
The Golden Flashes contested shots early as they carried a four-point lead into the 11:13 media timeout. At 11:06 in the first half, Jalen Sullinger hit a three pointer to surpass 1,000 career points as a Kent State Golden Flash. KSU led by as much as 10 in the first 20 minutes before the Pilots closed it to three points by the half.
