Kent, Ohio- Senior Midfielder, Siena Stambolich, recorded a goal and two assists to give the Golden Flashes a big 3-2 win over Central Michigan Sunday afternoon.
Kent State (6-5-2, 3-3-1 MAC) stop a two-game skid against Mid-American Conference foes while the Chippewas (4-6-4, 2-4-1 MAC) have now dropped back-to-back games in conference opponents.
The Flashes got on the board in the second minute of the game when Stambolich took a corner kick that found the head of Kelsey Salopek at the back post. The goal is Salopek's second of the year and ties her total from the 2023 campaign.
