ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Kent State softball team (6-14) was swept in a road doubleheader against #25 Michigan (15-10) to wrap-up weekend non-conference action. The Golden Flashes fell 18-1 in the first game before putting up a fight in the second game in an eventual 8-1 defeat.

Kent State was able to put a pair of runners on in the first inning against NFCA All-American pitcher Meghan Beaubien on back-to-back one out singles from Kaitlyn Miller and Bailey Brownfield.
