The Kent State softball team is scheduled to play five home games at Devine Diamond this week, beginning with a doubleheader against Buffalo on Wednesday at 1 p.m.
About the Flashes
Kent State battled Central Michigan in the first two games of this past weekend's series in Mount Pleasant before an eight-run inning helped the host record a run-rule victory in the finale. Sophomore Megan Claerhout led the Golden Flashes at the plate with five hits and two RBIs. Redshirt sophomore Kendal Leitner drove in four runs and batted .500 for the series.
