KENT, Ohio – Kent State softball head coach Eric Oakley announced the 2018 schedule for the defending Mid-American Conference Tournament Champions on Tuesday. This year's slate will feature 16 home games at the Diamond at Dix, with the home opener against Youngstown State on Wednesday, March 21.
"I really like the schedule we've been able to put together for this season. We get to travel to some new locations and see some new teams," said Oakley. "Games against several teams in the 50-150 RPI range should prepare our team for the grind of the MAC season.
