The No. 2 seed Kent State soccer team will play host to Eastern Michigan on Sunday at 1 p.m. from Dix Stadium, one of four Mid-American Conference Tournament quarterfinal matches of the day.
The MAC East Division Champion Golden Flashes enter the tournament as the number two seed having finished the regular season with a record of 12-2-2 (8-1-2 MAC). Eastern Michigan, the seven seed, enters the tournament having finished the regular season with a record of 6-9-4 (4-5-2 MAC).
Kent State finished the regular season with a 3-2 overtime win at Ohio on Thursday. Junior Hayden Pascoe netted two of Kent State's three goals including the game-winner with just four seconds remaining in the first overtime period.
