KENT, Ohio – Kent State University Director of Athletics Joel Nielsen has announced a contract extension for head men's basketball coach Rob Senderoff through the 2021-22 season.
"Rob and his staff have continued the outstanding basketball tradition at Kent State," said Nielsen. "This extension represents our commitment to the men's basketball program as they seek even higher levels of accomplishments in the upcoming years. Winning championships and graduating student-athletes, Rob had certainly delivered."
The contract extension comes on the heels of the program's Mid-American Conference Championship winning season and the Golden Flashes' return to the NCAA Tournament.
