AKRON, Ohio – Redshirt freshman pitcher Andrea Scali was one out away from a no-hitter as Kent State (27-23) defeated Central Michigan (22-28-1) 3-0 at Firestone Stadium on Friday afternoon at Firestone Stadium in the Mid-American Conference Tournament. The No. 2 seeded Golden Flashes advance in the loser's bracket and will now battle No. 7 Toledo at 7 p.m. The Flashes have won two games today, including a 4-1 victory over Ball State this morning.
