KENT, Ohio – Redshirt freshman Andrea Scali threw Kent State's (25-22, 11-5 MAC) first perfect game since 2017 in the first game of a doubleheader against Bowling Green (22-29, 7-14 MAC) at the Diamond at Dix on Saturday afternoon. She fired her third overall no-hitter of the season in the 4-0 triumph and became the first Golden Flashes pitcher to throw three no-hitters in a season since Emma Johnson in 2015. She also struck out a career-high 14. Senior Bailey Brownfield notched her 200th career hit and became just the fourth player in school history to achieve the milestone.
