KENT, OHIO- Tim Rooney and Andrew McNally earned falls at 133 and 174 pounds, but Missouri came out the victor, 31-12, in a Sunday afternoon MAC dual.
Rooney gave the Flashes the lead with his first MAC fall of the year. The senior found himself trailing in the third period and used great leverage on Allan Hart (10-7) to flip him on the mat and get the pin with just 16 seconds remaining. It was Rooney's 20th victory of the season and improved to 4-1 against MAC competition. After Mizzou took back the lead at 141, Kody Komara gave #4 Brock Mauller all he could handle at 149.
