CLEVELAND, Ohio – Kent State senior Clara Rodriguez was named the Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Week following the Flashes dominate victories over Bellarmine this past weekend, as announced by the conference Tuesday afternoon. Rodriguez exploded offensively, notching 4 goals, 2 assists, and 10 total points on the weekend.
The 2019 First Team All-MAC midfielder helped the Flashes get off to a red-hot start in the first game of their double header. Rodriguez got the scoring started for Kent State one minute and thirty-four seconds into the contest. She continued to score two more goals in the first quarter securing her hat trick and leading the Flashes to an 8-0 victory.
