KENT, Ohio- The Mid-American Conference announced on Sunday afternoon that the final regular season game against rival Akron on March 8 at the M.A.C. Center has been picked up by CBS Sports Network. The game will now tip at 6:30 p.m.
Overall this will be the sixth game to air on national television for the Flashes and the fourth time a KSU game will be on CBS Sports Network (Buffalo, Ball State, Bowling Green, Akron). Kent State will also make an appearance on ESPN2 for Friday's game against Buffalo.
Kent State is 19-6 overall and 8-4 in league play, while Akron sits at 14-11 overall and 6-6 in MAC play.
