BOWLING GREEN, Ohio- Senior Danny Pippen converted on a layup off an inbound pass with 21 seconds remaining as the Kent State men's basketball team (11-5, 8-4 MAC) secured a 71-67 victory over Bowling Green at the Stroh Center on Tuesday night.
Senior Tervell Beck led the Flashes' scoring efforts and tied his career-high with 18 points. Beck also added four rebounds and four assists. Pippen secured his seventh double-double performance of the season with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Freshman Jeremiah Hernandez scored a career-high 11 points, while junior Gabe O'Neal rounded out the double-figure scoring with 10 points on 4-of-4 from the floor and 2-of-2 from the charity stripe.
