The Kent State track and field teams had athletes competing in three separate locations as they attempted to qualify for the NCAA East Region Preliminary set to be run later this month.
The story of the weekend was Leah Pasqualetti breaking the Kent State outdoor school record for the women's pole vault at the Akron Field Events Qualifier Sunday. She was tied with Sam Tollerud at 13' 10" heading into the weekend. Pasqualetti won the pole vault in Akron, clearing 14' 0" to set the new record before attempting and just missing at 14' 3.
