KENT, Ohio — The Kent State women's basketball program has added transfers Joy Bergstrom (South Dakota) and Riley Rismiller (Dayton), who are currently on campus for summer workouts with the reigning Mid-American Conference Tournament champions.
"I'm really excited about the depth at multiple positions that will be created by the additions of Joy and Riley," head coach Todd Starkey said. "We recruited both out of high school and believe they have the ability to be all-conference players in the future."

A four-time all-state selection, Bergstrom set the career (1,824) and single-season (565) scoring records at Saint Viator High School.
