Larissa Lurken continued her early-season scoring flurry, netting a game-high 24 points to lead the Kent State women’s basketball team to a 77-64 victory over Florida Gulf Coast in the Gulf Coast Showdown on Sunday.
Lurken is averaging 23.4 points per game for the Golden Flashes (3-4), who led 41-22 at halftime.
Jordan Korinek (St. Vincent-St. Mary, 16 points), Naddiyah Cross (11) and Chelsi Watson (10) also scored in double figures for the Flashes.
