Jordan Korinek (St. Vincent-St. Mary) became the 21st player in Kent State women’s basketball history to score 1,000 career points in a 77-62 Mid-American Conference loss at Buffalo on Saturday.
Korinek finished with a team-high 23 points for the Golden Flashes (12-11, 6-5) and Larissa Lurken added 21.
Joann Smith topped all scorers with 31 points for Buffalo (16-6, 6-5).
