The No. 13 Kent State women’s golf team shot a 4-under on Tuesday to rally to a first-place finish at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational in Austin, Texas.
The Golden Flashes trailed No. 12 Miami after two rounds on Monday, but strong performances from Michaela Finn and Pimnipa Panthong on Tuesday led the Flashes to a 2-under 862 finish, 1 stroke ahead of Miami.
Finn was 2-under on Tuesday and finished in second place at 7-under 209, and Panthong carded a 4-under on Tuesday and placed third with a 6-under 210.
