The No. 10 Kent State women’s golf team finished in sixth place at the UCF Challenge at the Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, Fla., in its first tournament of the spring.
The Flashes shot a 3-under 861 and finished ahead of five of Golfstat’s top-50 ranked teams.
Pimnipa Panthong carded a 3-under 68 on Tuesday, the lowest round of a Flash in the tournament, and finished tied for 12th place with a 4-under 212.
Wad Phaewchimplee finished tied for 15th place with a 3-under 213, and Michaela Finn finished tied for 28th at 1-over 217.
